It is an avenue where we, together with fellow brothers and sisters across the church congregations, can serve God and His flock with the unique gifts and talents He has blessed each of us with.

You can maximize your spiritual gifts and talents, strengthen your fellowship bonds with fellow brothers and sisters, experience a wholesome spiritual life beyond your pastoral group and lend your expertise in advancing the Kingdom. Not to forget, there is just so much you can learn along the way and many lives will be blessed by your service.

You are always welcome to volunteer your services whenever you are ready and available after you have consulted your leaders. Not forgetting that you have to know how to manage your time well.

1. Select a ministry of your choice that allows you to develop your potential best.

2. Check if you meet the requirements via the website, or in-person at the Ministry booths on 5 and 12 March 2011.

3. Express your interest to your leader and seek his/her advice and approval.

4. When your leader approves of your decision, fill in the response slip and drop it in the Youth Ministry Drive box at the information counter or email your responses (according to the response slip) to youthhope@gmail.com. The respective ministry leaders will then contact you.

Ministry Description
We SING. We JUMP. We are EXCITED for JESUS.
In the choir, we learn to develop our vocal talents further and of course, cultivate a worshipful heart. You have seen us on stage before, and we are the most colourful group of people for Jesus! Come join this dynamic, energetic and closely knitted family!

Expectations/ Requirements
·Committed member or has been attending Y-Hope regularly for at least 3 months
·Able to sing and carry a tune (auditions will be held to place you where you are most suited)

- Every Saturday from 10am-11.30am
- An additional 1 weekday evening for practice (during weeks where Choir is going on stage)

Ministry Description
More commonly known as support singers, we are the team backing the Worship Leader with our voices. As part of the worship team, we work together to lead the congregation in song towards God. We sing, we dance, we shout. We do everything you guys do during a praise and worship session. The only difference is that we do it on stage.

Ministry description
The music ministry consists of a bunch of fun-loving and gifted people who are passionate about music. Our vision is to build the church strong and to reach out to the lost through music. We believe that music helps to connect God to us and us to God in a very personal way. Therefore, our role as musicians is to usher people into God’s presence and allow Him to meet the needs of the congregation through music. To us, music is also a way to remain relevant to the world, hence playing an important role in the outreach efforts of our church. So if God has given you a talent in music, do contact us and we will help you discover what God can do through you with what He has given you!

- Maturing Christian, Core team and above
- Able to play a musical instrument
- Passionate about serving in the music team

Time commitment/ Involvement
Fortnightly commitment to discipleship will be required.
If selected, new musicians will have a senior musician attached to them to coach and guide them in skills and spirit, as well as to assess their potential to become the desired musician for God's use. Training schedule prior to actual serving vary according to individual skills and maturity.

Passionate for God and willing to serve the church with our God-given talents, dancers communicate God's message through movement. We are committed to develop ourselves spiritually and technically to serve, as a platform for opening hearts and touching lives, in services and community outreach events.

· Committed members (regular for lifegroup and service for at least 3 months)

· Auditions will be held (to place you in our hiphop, bboy or modern jazz team)

Ministry Description

If you have a penchant for acting, have the gift of gab, a vivid imagination, or simply just been bedazzled by the magic of musicals and drama, the drama team is looking for YOU! Jesus spoke through parables. We are looking for people who are passionate for God, and who desire to use drama to speak into the hearts of His people. We work through evangelistic services (ESS) or during special programs to open the hearts of the people and usher them to receive the word of God.

· Passionate about drama and acting or anything related
· Auditions will be held (auditions are quite strict)

Ad hoc basis (rehearsals can stretch late into the night for up to 3-4 times a week)

Ministry description
The image team consists of makeup artistes, stylists and merchandisers who love fashion and are passionate in what they do to enhance the image of stage ministers. We are updated of trends, creative and love beautifying what is placed in our hands. In this team, we grow to take our fashion skills further as we serve and learn from the experts.

Creatives emerged from the combination of two ministries, Y-Communications and Décor. With new blood and new dynamics, we aspire to creatively communicate in an engaging, timely and accurate manner.

Creatives endeavors to be the proverbial phoenix when it comes to producing creative works, and welcomes any who believe that what they design, build or write contains the power to affect the world.

GRAPHIC DESIGNERS
We specialize in applying creativity through visual communications; for example, monthly bulletins, invitation cards, publicities, service welcome slides.
Expectations/ Requirements
· Familiar with at least one design related software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, InDesign)
· Have a good sense of design and visual composition
· Able to communicate and execute ideas well
· Possess your own PC/Mac
· A portfolio of your works is required during the interview

MOTION GRAPHICS
We make images and words come alive by animating them for weekly announcements, special services and other ad-hoc events.

WRITERS / EDITORS
We use the beauty of language as a medium to exhibit God’s goodness. We do everything from writing short stories, to editing testimonies, to copywriting for various church projects.

CRAFTSMEN
Always wondered who the silent heroes who stylize your environment are? Craftsmen work to reflect God’s glory and enhance the worship experience in our services and corporate events. We are a fun ministry that uses our God-given creativity and artistic talents to create and construct decorations, balloon sculptures, props, displays and other creative models.
Expectations/ Requirements
· All are welcome
· Members who love creating, or whom are simply interested to be involved, to learn and increase their creativity.
Time commitment/ Involvement
We require commitment on weekdays if a need arises, especially in the case of special events.

ILLUSTRATORS
Do the doodles in your notebooks outnumber the notes you take in class? We draw for the Lord, to communicate a message visually through storytelling in print and other mediums.

Under the Media Ministry there are four departments for you to develop your interest! We use various modes of media to facilitate the smooth operations of the service by providing the technical infrastructure needed. We help people to experience God in the most tangible way by creating a total worship experience for them. We come up with fresh and new ideas regularly to cater to the needs of our congregation.

LIGHTS
